Two types of Automatic Tuning Antenna will be dealt with here.

The 8558 which was released with the 8525 transceiver in 1985 and the 9350 Autotune released with the 9323 in 1993

The 8558 requires either the 8551 Antenna tuning box or OPTION AD fitted to the transceiver to work.

The 9350 requires neither, as all the electronics is inside the antenna.
